* Not all products are available in all markets nor associated claims allowed in all regions.

Micro-Cell® FS promotes and maintains a normal intestinal environment to discourage the development of negative bacteria in beef cattle, which contributes to improved feed efficiency, performance and food safety.

Beef Industry Food Safety Council (BIFSCo) has acknowledged probiotics as a pre-harvest Production Best Practice (PBP) to reduce the prevalence of E. coli O157:H7. Lactobacillus acidophilus BT-1386 is noted as PBP probiotic based on peer-reviewed research showing it can reduce E. coli O157:H7 when fed at 1 x 109 colony-forming units (CFU), or 0.05 grams, per head per day.1

In commercial feedyard rations, the addition of L. acidophilus BT-1386 has helped improve beef cattle performance and profitability.2,3 Independent cattle feeding data has shown L. acidophilus BT-1386 fed cattle had a reduction in E. coli O157:H7 shedding and re-infection of Salmonella when compared to control cattle.4
