Product Description

How it works

Lallemand’s premium YCW contains a high amount of mannans, which help block the colonization of undesirable bacteria within the digestive tract of the animal, and ß-glucans, a component that helps support the non-specific immune system of the animal.

MYCOGUARD contains Lallemand’s premium YCW and a complex and highly polar HSCAS with potent activity against a wide range of mycotoxins, without binding nutrients.

Moreover, MYCOGUARD will not buffer the natural stomach acids. MYCOGUARD has a pH ideally suited to help optimize digestive functions.

Why it matters

Mycotoxins are toxic metabolites produced by certain fungi that colonize crops.

Five families of mycotoxins of particular interest for the safety of animals are: trichothecenes, zearalenone, fumonisins, aflatoxins, and ochratoxins

Mycotoxins in feed are a serious threat to the health and productivity of all animal species worldwide.
