Product Description

Product details

BIOPOWER LA has been reviewed and approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) under registration number 680169.

CFIA-APPROVED CLAIM: When fed as directed, BIOPOWER LA improves feed efficiency of beef cattle.

How it works

Found naturally in the intestinal tract of ruminants, Lallemand’s specific L. acidophilus strain BT-1386 is designed to survive in the lower digestive tract and support an ideal microbiota balance. Research has shown that L. acidophilus strain BT-1386, found in BIOPOWER LA, has an inhibitory effect on certain strains of enteric organisms, like E. coli and Salmonella.1

Why it matters

BIOPOWER LA aids in increasing ration digestibility and promotes an ideal microbiota balance to improve the overall health and feedlot performance of the animal.2,3

Probiotics can work together with other pre-harvest and post-harvest interventions to create an inhospitable environment in the gut for undesirable microbes while securing the trust and confidence of consumers for the safety and wholesomeness of beef products.

Formulated for success

BIOPOWER LA is highly concentrated, and designed for low inclusion, micro-ingredient feed additive machines.
