FIBOSEL

FIBOSEL is a feed material containing selected cell wall fractions of a Saccharomyces cerevisiae baker’s yeast rich in b-1,3/1,6-glucans.

It is produced by processing yeast cells in a highly controlled system. Cell walls are purified and ß-1,3/1,6-glucans concentration and exposure are increased through an exclusive extraction and activation procedure. The main purpose of the extraction is to remove yeast mannoprotein outer layers to optimize ß-glucans exposure and therefore their recognition by macrophages receptors.

FIBOSEL helps stimulate the immune system of animals and thereby helps reinforce disease resistance. In return, it safeguards animal performance.

FIBOSEL can be used in organic production under regulation (EC) No 2018/848.
