MELOFEED is a feed supplement made from dried melon juice from a specific variety that is naturally rich in the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD).
MELOFEED helps modulate oxidative stress levels, immune biomarkers, and antioxidant defenses. As a result, it improves zootechnical performance under normal and challenging situations, increases reproductive performance, and helps enhance the quality of animal products.

MELOFEED contains a specific coating that protects the active ingredient, SOD, from digestion along the digestive tract. Once it reaches the small intestine, MELOFEED stimulates the endogenous production of antioxidant enzymes in the body and helps reinforce natural defenses against oxidative stress.
Oxidative stress is known to have a negative impact on zootechnical performance, reproduction, and animal product quality. Studies have demonstrated that an antioxidative solution containing MELOFEED, selenium, and vitamin E is able to improve zootechnical performance under normal and challenging situations. It is also demonstrated to help improve reproductive performance, quality of offspring, as well as the quality of animal products such as milk, eggs, and meat.
Oxidative stress results from an imbalance between pro-oxidant and antioxidant molecules, causing an overproduction of reactive oxygen species (ROS) at the cellular level. This overproduction of ROS could overwhelm the animal’s normal antioxidant capacity and lead to a physiological imbalance, possibly causing cellular damage and altering animal health and performance.
Oxidative stress can arise from stressful situations such as reproduction, weaning, growth, and training as well as from external stimuli such as heat stress, vaccination, diseases, transportation, and incorrect stocking density.

MELOFEED and MELOFEED Drink are packaged in a 1 kg aluminum sachet.
PM MELOFEED 2.5 is packaged in a 5 kg sachet.
MELOFEED can be kept for 24 months from the date of production when kept in its original, unopened packaging in a cool and dry place.
