Lallemand and B V Biocorp Poultry Conference Tour in India

Lallemand Animal Nutrition and B V Biocorp ( A group company of Venkateshwara Hatcheries India ) , had organized a series of conferences in Central and North-East India between June 21-27, 2015 around the New Challenges and Solutions inviting Poultry breeding companies. Organized at three different locations in India , the Seminars were attended by over 200 Poultry breeder managers/ Owners in total. Venkateshwara Hatcheries Group is the largest fully integrated poultry group in all Asia. B V Biocorp is associated with Lallemand since 2003 and the business relationship is growing Stronger.

Dr .Vishwas Sagajkar (Deputy General Manager) introduced the concept and theme of seminars to audience and Mr. Deepak Khosla (G M Venky`s India) later talked about the Indian poultry meat market and consumers’ expectations in terms of meat quality. Mr. Deepak stressed the importance of considering consumers’ demand and to be able to bring innovative solutions to meet the market needs and anticipate its evolution. 
Dr. Chin, LAN poultry consultant, was then able to list the new challenges ahead and some solutions that are available and developed, such as probiotics.

IMGP0809bisThe Lallemand Animal Nutrition team, represented by Poultry Product Manager Florence Rudeaux and Dr. Pradip Linge (Area manager- South and South-East Asia), then presented LEVUCELL®SB and AVIGUARD®, two complementary solutions that can help manage the withdrawal or reduction of antibiotic usage as growth promoter or treatment in breeders.

Dr. Harshakumar Shetty, GM Technical responsible for Breeders Management for Venky’s, also pointed the importance to follow Good Practices in the areas of biosafety, Biosecurity, hatchery and Farm management. 

The Tour consisted in a series of three conferences organized by B V Biocorp in three different locations namely Sehore, Mahabaleswar and Kolkata a. It was a Great success for both partners and shall be organized frequently in India.
