American Farmer is a show for those passionate about the agricultural industries and its mission is to showcase the latest advancements in agriculture and farming. This show airs on RFD-TV three times a week, and is hosted by an experienced farmer and award winning producer, Charlie Cowan.
The Lallemand segment was shot at several locations ─ two dairies in Ithca and Morrisville, in upstate New York; one swine facility in Kansas; and a feedyard in Texas, with additional footage taken during World Dairy Expo 2013, and the Lallemand manufacturing facility in Milwaukee, Wis. The video featured six interviewees including producers who use Lallemand products, Dr. Michael Hutjens from the University of Illinois, and Lallemand Animal Nutrition’s own Technical Services Manager, Dr. Angel Aguilar. Dr. Hutjens, a well-respected Extension Dairy Specialist, provided an overview of the importance of fermentation in animal agriculture in addition to the positive testimonials given by customers.
