High moisture corn is a valuable and nutritious feed, but it also requires careful management to avoid spoilage and toxins. In fact, for me toxins are my primary concern. I want my animals to be fed a healthy and wholesome silage, I think it’s fundamental. I use MAGNIVA Platinum 2, an inoculant from Lallemand Animal Nutrition, that ensures a fast and efficient fermentation and reduces yeast and mould growth.

It is very easy to apply and does not take much time. I just add it during the milling phase and then pack the silo tightly. I can open the silo after 17 days and find a high-quality product that is stable, fragrant, and bright.
